Gents, can anyone advise if a carburetor for a 261 is the same as one for a 235?
Specifically, I have a 1960 235 and would like to possibly upgrade the carb to a slightly larger one. Can this be achieved by running a carb from a similar year 261? I've heard/read mixed reviews of the Langdon option, with some people saying its not a big enough carb for the 235.
I'm not looking to spend a ton of money, nor go to a dual carb set-up. More just looking for a semi-inexpensive solution that may provide a couple more hp on the stock manifolds.
Any input you can provide is greatly appreciated.
