Works great providing: a sharp center punch is used in the middle of the spot weld to keep the tip from wandering and the surface must be flat. Uneven surfaces can cause the bit to wander, eliciting swear words. When the hole saw won't work, I will heat the spot weld with my torch and use an air chisel to separate. | | |
