3=1953, 1=Chevrolet, 4= 3/4 or 1 Ton, 3=137 inch wheelbase, 4=pickup, 18042 =sequential build number
Looks like possibly a delux cab with the windshield bright trim.
I'm in the process of trying to figure out the numbers for the engine, definitely a process for these old trucks.
Value is very debatable with prices all over the map. If the truck runs with clear title and last registration papers for it, I think around 1500.00 to 2000.00 is fair + or -. The pictures don't show a lot of rust penetration, or door over extension on the passenger side at least, no pictures of the drivers side.
