What do you mean by a long bed, 9 ft? The one tons had those. The half tons had short beds and optional 8' beds and the 3/4 tons had 8' beds, I believe. You can double check this info in the General truck forum.
There should be a metal plate on the driver's door jamb, between the hinges. I believe the 3/4 ton trucks serial # started with the letters KR. Again check this info in the tech tips at the top of the page.
In the first section of the tech tips, there is an article on 'what's my truck worth'. It is the most often asked question and there is no correct answer. They tend to be worth more here than in the mid-west US. It does appear to be not too shabby, maybe try to find someone nearer than you to have a look. Is it out west? I wish you luck.
