Hi, my name is Gabe from northern very northern California, I'm the proud owner of a 1947 Chevrolet Fleetline woodie, I love this car, had it for about 3 years now, its a work in progress. Very original car with hopefully its original 216 engine. Was running beautifully until the rod bearings decided to loosen on me so that's the next project. I'm also the proud recent owner of a 1946 Chevy 1/2 ton truck. Not as original but very solid, no rust, featuring what I think is a 235 engine. I don't mind it not being the original engine because this engine is sweet. Smooth, tons of torque and just idles beautifully. I hope someone will be able to help me decipher exactly what engine I have because ive checked all the sites and couldn't find one that matched. If someone could help, ide really appreciate it.
