yes mine looks like the 5" diameter S6 type, with the fitting at the bottom.
soft copper washer that's a good idea- is it possible to get the rubber seal without buying the whole filer assembly? the FRAM C4 i have appears to be correct fit for this cannister, just the seal is wrong...
This 1961 235 all oil goes thru this filter correct? its not a bypass filter?
