I dug into my cab today, ripping out the right side vented panel for the fresh air heater,...rotting from the inside. Then i dug out (literlly) the bondo that had seled up the front cowl vent. i have no idea who did this or where but i got it ALL out and free'd up!
however, I noticed that the metal on the rear side of the cowl vent inside along where the rubber seal would go is not attatched to the rest of the cowl,..like it had either ripped away from the cowl or simply rotted away?? The funny thing is everything works fine and I'm really not sure,..is it SUPPOSED to be like that and then when the rubber seal is replaced it will lap over that?? Doesn't seem right to me!!?? Let me go and try to get a picture of what I'm talking about!
