There was a post about an issue with the stainless trim clip on TF trucks. I had bought some from Brothers and when I compared them with one stuck in a strip, it sure looked bigger. I talked with MikeB and he sent me a clip he had made using the original clip as a sample. Here is what I found when I compared an original, one from Brothers and one from Mike.

Mike's and the original was so close, I'd be hard pressed to decide which was which. The one from Brothers is made with a thicker guage material, the part that sticks in the hole is longer and the base area doesn't measure the same as Mike's or the original. Other drawbacks of the Brothers clip are with a thicker guage metal, they will bend the trim if used and the LONG fingers will bottom out before tightening around the vent window.
