Machine the spindle to remove all the threads, weld it up with the proper alloy, anneal, heat treat, and normalize the part, then cut new threads. You're talking about a thousand dollars' worth of labor to salvage a part worth a couple of hundred at most, and a definite "maybe" that it's going to be safe afterwards.
