KL: thanks for the measurement, but, I'm working on something where I'll need to repeat that dimension. I've measured two other 48-53 AD tailgates this weekend and they were 49 3/4 and 49 7/8......only an 1/8" difference (understandable production variation?). I hate to question your tape measure but your's is different by 1 5/8" (?????!). Could you please recheck? Anyone else? And that leads me to another question: are there any more Bolter's here in the St. Charles County, Missouri area? .....wouldn't mind meeting up with you....
