I did contact Mike and the followup rendered the following - "I do not know which measurement you you should go with, but we do not have any of these anyhow". In fairness, it is a picture of "a" power valve, and noted a used part with no guarantees on the website.
This thread does show the positives of the internet and forums like these. When I saw the picture and length I began questioning. Now I know there are a bunch of different ones and are not available anymore. I have pictures and measurements, have a solid suggestion of how to proceed. I'll clean, polish, reinstall, see if the shortness makes a difference. It is on my list so if I run across one I'll pick it up.
