| | | | Joined: Nov 2012 Posts: 20 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Nov 2012 Posts: 20 | The truck by no means was solid It needed rockers inners and outers flooring kick panels, 2 new fenders and inner fenders it still nedds a lot of stuff.. Nice solid looking truck. I just bought a 64 C10 for parts off of the 292. I am putting a remanufactured 292 in a 53 Chevy wagon, Camaro T5, 10 bolt S10 rear, Fatman suspension, etc.
I have some cab trim from the 64 along with the stainless windshield trim if you would be interested.
I also have a similar truck project to yours. 1959 Chevy Apache Fleetside Deluxe cab short box. Mounted on a mid 80's Chevy truck frame 4x4.
Have fun with your project. These 292's are becoming rare.
