Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 7,440 Bolter | | Bolter Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 7,440 | I seem to recall from my days of making keys (40+ years ago) that there were several Briggs & Stratton key blanks that had roughly the same grooves cut in them. If we were out of the correct (according to the book) blank we would just grab a different but compatible blank and cut the key. Customer didn't care just as long as the key worked. A little polishing with the wire wheel or a slight grind here or there with the cutter and all was well.
