Andy, I have never used it so I am not familiar at all. I have had some guys I chat with on the net try it and found it to work real well.
As far as I know it is a polyester primer (there are many brands)that has some "etching" qualities. I am sure, darn sure that is over blown marketing hype. But it appears to work pretty well.
