| | | | Joined: May 2002 Posts: 8 Member | | Member Joined: May 2002 Posts: 8 | I have a 51 that someone had put a 55 2cd bed on. the frame was cut over the axles ( to lower the bed enough) and metal scabed in under the cut to beef up the frame. I am going to fix this. My question is with my very limited funds I was going to atempt to use the existing bed sides.I know the difference in the depth of the bed is about 2" Has anyone done this before? My goal is that after all is said and done that the the bed will look like a 55 1cd not true to the original 51 but certainly better than what it looks like now. | | |
