Each end of the strap is bent to fit the diameter of the muffler. One end of the strap go through a slot in the hanger/bracket and the other end of the strap goes through eye/opening in the threaded bolt that tightens the strap against the muffler. It is hard to explain, but the diagram should be a big help (thanks, '54 3600). | | |
