Thanks for the updates. Gee perhaps I should take the DOHC 6 out of the Jag, it is mated to a 4 speed with electric overdrive
The Jag (a 63) weighs in over 4200 lb, and flies with this engine. Triple SU carbs. A staggering 8 miles to the imperial gallon. My wife probably would not approve though. Don't know what the purists would say to an english engine in old American Iron.
