| | | | Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 29,269 Bubba - Curmudgeon | | Bubba - Curmudgeon Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 29,269 | I think (I bet) there were holes in the cab sheet-metal for the add-on passenger-side visor in all A-D trucks. Those holes are in my 1954 cabs.
Only the driver's visor ("sun shade") was standard in 47 to 49/50 cabs/trucks. The passenger side sunshade was an accessory in all cabs/trucks in these years.
From 51-55st, the passenger side sun shade was standard on Suburbans - it was an accessory on all other models.
