Sorry, I don't think it will. (I stated "depending on the amount of clearance needed") Spacers are only 3/8 to 1/4 inch thick. You would have to stack quite a few to achieve the thickness you need. You are better off with the spacer/adapter you were originally looking at. I think that they would work o.k.. Personally, I would find a different set of rims with a different offset.(For the reason "Justhorsenround" mentioned.
