I got the replacement float set and all is well. The truck runs really good now with dual W-1s.
These carbs seem to be dirt sensitive, I would give it a really good soaking in cleaning solvent with a new kit if you haven't done it already. Double check the float, mine had fuel inside and I could hear it when I shook it. Wasn't much, but enough to cause a flooding problem.
