Took the belt off in the garage (raining outside).
Engine is cool but when I turn the fan blade the water pump squawks. Obviously low speed so the sound is different but there.Sounds like the rubber seal. Pump has no play in it and only has about 300 miles on it. I don't know why it would fail already. I will run the engine without the belt to verify when the weather changes.
It is a shorty pump from Patrick's so I don't know if they will help me out on it or not.
