From what I have here, I would say yes, they both had the name Chevrolet and I would assume that the GMC dials did the same. Looking into the answer to your question, I just noticed that the replacement early dials may not be a faithful reproduction. I have one that I think is original and the high end of the dial is marked by "160". The replacements end in "150".
