Hi, Larry, I found on mine that the tuning knob is VERY senitive. I make sure that it is centered on the station and then set the push buttons. I have had it cut out and I find that if push a button for a station it comes back on. I think road vibrations are causing the tuner knob to move just a little bit. Have fun, Brian
