the easiest cheapest way. is to do a crossmember swap and put the entire front suspension from a 73 & newer truck under it. its almost a bolt in. and you can also bolt the later rear end to the GMC rear leaf springs. you will then have 5 lug wheels and a greater selection of rear gear ratios.
