This is really disheartening to read about the repro radios. I wish others on this site could share their experiences. I am under the understanding that the button selections will be lost if power is lost. Is that so?
There are some people in the business of replacing the electronics in these old radios with a new solid state board. They use the mechanical tuning system and the oscillator tuning coil. I am not sure if it is an FM only conversion.
