The glass fuel bowl is stuck to the cork gasket. Carefully take a small screw driver and pry up on the glass bowl to remove it. You will probably need a new cork gasket which are available with most of the early Chevrolet truck vendors or E-Pay. Shut off the fuel tank valve before you remove the glass bowl to help prevent further gasoline leakage at the pump. That's the way I do it, but some may disagree about the fuel shut off valve at the tank? Hope this helps.
