Hi guys...just spent most of the evening trying to get a Newport Wiper conversion set up in my 1953 Chevy truck. I ordered the one that was able to clear the choke cable and everything was marked for that and don't you know...it hit the choke cable....hit the heater duct...and also hit the steering column support....I am hoping jim carter truck takes it back because it must have gotten tagged wrong from the factory...anybody else bought this wiper conversion and had them send the wrong one?....
so frustrating these old truck....don't know how you guys can keep working on them and even collect more than one of them...to me at this point....it has not been a fun trip....we are on the homestretch...about $2000.00 more and we should be done...if the motor is is sick well then....someone else can deal with that issue...
