| | THANKS!
For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Sep 2004 Posts: 241 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Sep 2004 Posts: 241 | I recently purchased a new key cylinder and keys for my truck (1956-3200). The door locks fine from the inside but the key doesn’t turn in the lock from the outside. I pulled off the door panel but for the life of me cannot see how to get enough room for my hand in the access hole to unscrew the door handle. The manual doesn’t address taking off the door regulator to remove the door handle. I didn’t see anything on the site search here specifically dealing with this. Please forgive such a basic question but is it common to remove the door regulator and door lock mechanism itself in order to get to the handle? Thanks, Mark
