Thanks, first problem that we should address is something I ran across yesterday. I was changing over the bulbs to LED thinking they would behave the same in the circuit. Wrrrrrong!!

So, if you have a three wire 10SI type Alternator, the incandescent dash light bulb works but to get the bulb to go clear out (not dim) you have to add a 1N4005 diode. Since the LED IS a diode, it does not go out sufficiently to cause my relay to trip. So, it's either back to an incandescent Alternator Warning Light, or maybe someone here has enough knowledge to overcome the LED problem?
