on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Nov 2013 Posts: 73 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Nov 2013 Posts: 73 | I posted in the driveline section but it might get a little more help here. I'm trying to install power steering in a friends 62 chev half ton and was pretty nervous about trying to get the right box to work with the least mods. I talked to another friend with a 63 and he said he used a 73 blazer unit. so I have one ordered and waiting for it to come in. does anyone have any other tips or a better fit? I will also have a challenge getting the pump mounted since it has a small block V-8 in it with the old heavy horseshoe shaped front engine mount I think maybe from a bigger truck. so not any extra bolt holes in the front of the block to use. - I'll have to fabricate something to work with the engine mount. But if I can get the steering box in righ I'm sure it will work | | |
