They are not weld able so I suggest not trying to modify them by weld or glue. They are held on with spring clips, take the emblem to your local Ace hardware as they sell them. Another alternative is pan nuts, they cut their own threads and held many Chevrolet emblems on a bit after the AD era for several model years. Pan nuts are also available at Ace, Home Depot and Auto Zone.
