I went to a salvage yard looking for a flywheel cover (bottom) for a 1959 3100 with a 235. The owner took me to a building that had several covers that appeared to be for a 6 cyl and I got one and sent it to a fellow Bolter. The issue is, it doesn't fit on the '59's 235, the cross-member restricts it from going in as it has too deep a recess, and the bolt holes don’t line up. How can I tell which is the correct application? Denny Graham has a photo of the one I'm talking about (blue one).Thanks to all for the responses.
