taz101, if you're going to rinse off the metal prep with water, it must be IMMEDIATELY dried. Use an air compressor or hair dryer for seams you can't get to. Some metal preps recommend rinsing and some do NOT. I would suggest using a product that does NOT recommend rinse with water.
