| | | | Joined: Aug 2012 Posts: 1,214 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Aug 2012 Posts: 1,214 | Sounds like the grease cup knob. If the cup is properly filled with grease, turning it in a turn every now and then will force grease into some cavities to keep the dist shaft lubed.
You can unscrew it to remove it to check to see if it has any grease in it. Be careful removing the cup as a small spring may follow it out.
