Thanks for the additional suggestions. I have to admit to my lack of mental fortitude on this one. My dash had this "rough bubbled" paint on it but I too thought it was someones poor paint job and sanded it smooth. I guess lesson learned here "research twice, put the sandpaper down and research again!" oh well> I keep hoping someone will say there is a product specially made for this restoration application. I will look into the Rustolium idea, will let you know what I think.
