Correct, the pictured wheels with 8 hand holes are very distinctive 18" 1 ton wheels with 8 lugs. (He may be confused by what size truck it is?)

If looking for wheels for a 1.5 ton which will be 10 lug on 7.25" there are several threads and a tech tip on your options.

Only aluminum option short of having some custom made are Alcoa 19.5", no longer in production though.
