Hello everyone I am brand new here as of yesterday. I have a 1954 3/4 ton Chevrolet. The kids have finally gone off to college and I have some alone time now to start my truck project.
Step 1 in my mind is to do a little research on my pickup. I have the Serial tak so i know where and when it was made (3/4 ton commercial, Janesville, WI)but it is missing the body tag. Is there a way to track down what the body tag might have been from the serial tag?
I have found great decoder web sites but I need the information to decode. Anyone have any guidance for someone who is very new at this?
