I had the same problem with my 46 panel that you have. I went with the S10 4 speed standard. I used the original peddles but I made my own mounting bracket that came off of the frame. It was a bit of work with lots of measuring but I am quite happy with it. I used the corvette aftermarket dual master cylinder with the fittings on both sides.
