I have a 1956 Chevy 3100 and my question is... the upper door hinges are the same for both doors. I called the parts house and they said there is only one hinge for the upper and lower and there is no right side or left side hinge. If this is true the spring on each upper hinge on the one door will be up and the other door will be down. Is this normal and did it come from the factory that way? If so which side was up and which side is down?
