Thanks for your kind reply. The link you gave for the dealer
accessory display is the one I was quoting from the GM Motorama
display. If you look on the left hand side of the link picture you gave to me you will see the mirror attached to the factory accessory bracket for trucks. There is only one such bracket that I know of, and surely this is the factory supplied mirror for 1959. Any comments appreciated.
