Reason is that caps and blocks are lined bored and are a matched unit,therefore caps are not easily interchangeable. You would be wise to talk to a engine machine shop to know your options. They may be able to fit and linebore another cap or suggest you get another block. Please trust me on this,I'd hate for you to make a bigger problem. | | |
