| | | | Joined: Aug 2015 Posts: 23 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Aug 2015 Posts: 23 | I removed my door sill and seal for painting and reinstalling the seal. Problem is the door seal I ordered from chevy of the 40s doesn't seem to fit tight to the sill plate where the other came off......my question is should I use a rubber seal cement or leave them as is? thinking the screws that hold the sill plate to the cab will hold the seal in place. To glue or not to glue....that is the question!
