Hello, I'm planning to swap my 235 out for a 327 in my 61 c-10. My question is will my original 4 speed work with the small block? Years ago I did the same swap in a 58 with the same 235 4 speed setup and if I remember correctly the input shaft was a little too long and I couldn't get it in gear because the splined part of the input shaft was up against the rear of the crankshaft. I don't know if they had the same transmissions. Hope someone with more knowledge can answer this, I'd like to keep the four speed. Thanks for any help.
