$300 $1200.00...
Is a LOT for a cylinder head. That may be a fair & reasonable amount to properly repair "multiple cracks", however. I'm not knocking them.
But, I could buy a certified/warrantied rebuilt cylinder head, sell it for $1200, and be making $300 (minimum) to $600. Just making you aware of what's out there; I've been where you're at. Shop around some & you can also place an add in the parts wanted forum.
