| | | | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,832 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 2,832 | I don't know if there is room in an AD but my 37 Buick has the bell crank right where the rod from the pedal goes through the floor rather than on the side of the block like an AD. I left the pedal assembly stock and just replaced the rod from the bell crank to the carb with a cable. Been working for 30+ years. If you see an old Buick at a show or meet take a look and see if the set up would work since the straight 8 Buick engine looks exactly like a 235 Chevy only longer.
