Loctite 660 is a high strength, fast setting formula, made for larger clearances. That does sounds like trouble in a hurry. I did a little research and talked to my fastenal guy, and I ordered a bottle of loctite 609. It's a medium strength, slower setting concoction that is made for situations like this. I'll try it when it shows up Monday and see how it works.
