Mine has started grinding going into 4th gear. Is this the same issue or similar? should I be looking at something different all together? 1950 3100, 4 spd trans.
This is not the same thing. You have a bad syncronisor on 4 th gear in the trans. In your next post you mentioned letting the clutch out in between the shift. This is called double clutching. It was nessesary back before they had syncros in them.
