Well brokenhead.... I agree with you that there are a lot of small blocks out there. Not many of us can afford 15 or 20k to pop in some exotic beast of a motor. I know a guy who has a totally built, blown 454 in his '57 truck. An amazing motor that blows you off your feet ! He doesn't drive it much because a tank full of gas lasts an afternoon. Original poster was looking for a reliable daily driver - not a trailer queen.
