| | | | Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 26 Junior Member | | Junior Member Joined: Apr 2005 Posts: 26 | Was reading up on tip sizes and some think that a 1.3 tip might atomize way to good and thus be a problem. Sounds like a 1.4 for shooting the base coats and clears would be a better choice.
For spraying primer that you can block sand would it be better to have a 1.5 tip or something more like a 2.0? reading that some use a 1.5 for primer but have also read where you need something a lot bigger like a 1.8 to 2.0...
A lot of choices out there.
