Hi All,
Starter, FW, FW Housing have been moved to a new 216. After the starter was installed, it wouldn't engage (actuating bell crank by hand). Rotated the engine a few degrees, and no problem.
With the same parts on the original engine, this never happened. The orientation of the FW should be random at each shut down, so this could happen again.
So the question is, does this happen often, and isn't noticeable since the bell crank is usually actuated by foot? Or is this unusual and if so, what should I do to investigate further?
Thanks in advance for the help.
Bill
